I have owned my 86 SE V6 since 16/01/99.  There had been some interesting 'engineering' performed on this car by a previous owner.  An example, the front springs had been cut, overlapped and then welded back together!  I guess they had tried to lower it too far and rather than buy new springs just welded a section of the old ones back on.  Also finding second hand engine oil in the gearbox caused some amusement.
